This Fall, CowPots had the exciting opportunity to travel to Paris for the International Dairy Federation’s World Dairy Summit. As finalists in the IDF Dairy Innovation Awards, we were honored to represent sustainable agriculture alongside the world’s leading dairy innovators. Held in one of the world’s most iconic cities, the summit brought together industry leaders, innovators, and advocates dedicated to the future of sustainable agriculture and dairy practices.

A Showcase for Sustainability in Agriculture

The IDF World Dairy Summit is renowned for showcasing the most impactful advancements in dairy and agricultural practices. Being recognized as an awards finalist was a milestone for CowPots packaging offerings, reflecting our commitment to eco-friendly and regenerative solutions. Our 100% biodegradable pots and custom products, made from composted cow manure, were a natural fit for a summit focused on creating more sustainable systems in dairy and agriculture. CowPots has always been about turning a byproduct into a powerful tool for gardening and farming and now packaging. We’re thrilled to see our commitment recognized on a global stage.

Highlights from the Summit

The World Dairy Summit featured a series of talks, exhibits, and networking events where innovative thinkers discussed how to meet the growing demands of food production while reducing environmental impact. It was inspiring to see how other innovators are tackling sustainability, particularly with initiatives that reduce waste, conserve resources, and support animal welfare. We connected with dairy professionals and sustainability advocates from around the world, sharing CowPots’ unique approach to turning dairy by-products into truly biodegradable resources for growing and packaging.

Why Sustainability Matters More Than Ever

This summit highlighted a key fact: sustainable farming practices aren’t just a trend—they’re an urgent necessity. Industries from transportation to energy production, food and farming are tasked with reducing our carbon footprint. By creating CowPots, we’re not only providing eco-friendly alternatives to plastic pots and fiberboard packaging, but also reducing waste in dairy production by turning manure into a valuable resource.

Being recognized as a finalist for the IDF Dairy Innovation Awards was an inspiring moment for us, and it’s a reminder that small changes—like choosing biodegradable pots over plastic—can make a big impact on the planet!

Looking Forward

We’ve returned from Paris energized and more dedicated than ever to our mission of sustainable innovation. CowPots’ journey is fueled by the belief that agriculture should work in harmony with nature, and this summit was part of the networking and system building towards a greener future. Thank you for supporting our journey, and we can’t wait to share more exciting developments with you as we continue to grow!
